Hey Guys! It's Christmas Time!

Oh what a happy holiday it was!
The four of us got up early and opened presents then Chris came over to celebrate with us.
We had a nice big lunch with a big yummy ham, & the rest of the day was spent decorating cookies, making homemade Chex Mix, and playing British Monopoly. (I found it @ Goodwill a few years ago.)
Of course, I have to talk about my gifts now. I received all kinds of wonderful gifts from my relatives, to whom I would like to say thank you (unofficially - your notes will be mailed soon!)
My parents gave me the Juicy Couture perfume I've been wanting.

I'm not that big on designer label stuff, but how can you resist a logo with those cute little scotties?! Plus, that perfume smells divine!
I also got a new digital camera. I really have been wanting one, but now that I got it I realized that I have to learn how to use it.
What a bother.

Get Behind Me, Santa!

It's Christmas Eve and I spent a lot of time in my workshop today. No, I wasn't getting presents ready, just feeling crafty.

I cut up a Clarke's mini menu to make these magnets. I recently purchased the little round magnets that fit perfectly into the back of my buttons, and I am so excited about it!

I am even more excited about these little guys. I used ink-jet printable shrinky dink sheets & designed my own plaid using Adobe Illustrator. I plan to update my etsy shop this week, and I will be putting some of these in there.

Bloody Murderer

I just saw Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, and it was amazing. It is by far one of the best movies I've seen in years. I highly recommend it, but there is an awful lot of blood and nastiness.

Comeback

Wow, It has been a while. This past week was finals. Horrible. I have yet to recover.
Once again, I am staying at my house, but this time, it is for a month. It is nice to be here, but a hassle to pack and move for a month. I really like how we don't get homework over break in college. Now I will have time for craft projects! I really hope to get more stuff back up on etsy. It has been empty for so long due to the busyness of college.

Well, I figure I ought to show you what I've been up to.

This is my self portrait. I went through a really interesting process with this one. I put on the wallpaper, peeled pieces off, painted on it, then left it outside in the rain under some leaves for about a week.

This is my landscape.

This is the collaborative painting Kym and I made. We call it Genocide of Squirrel.

And this one is my final, and favorite. It is based on the art of Jules de Balincourt. I used spray paint for the whole thing Layers and layers of it. I really want to do more spray paintings. Professor Joe is really encouraging me to. We'll see what happens.

So, that is what I have been up to in one class, I will save the rest for another entry.
