My mom recently showed me this website called wishpot.com. I am absolutely crazy about it! It is a wish list that allows you to upload products from any website! You add a button to your tool bar that allows you to add the item when you come across it.
With Christmas less than 2 months away this will come in handy! I have always hated that I have wish lists on multiple websites. I've also never been a big fan of telling people to buy things (usually because I feel like I could always find it cheaper somewhere myself.) Now when my relatives are asking for suggestions I can point them to my Wishpot list and it has the prices and links right there. Check out the sweet widget on my sidebar ---->
Is anybody else as excited by this as I am?

Reelin' In the Years
Chris and I celebrated our one year anniversary yesterday. (Don't worry, I'm not going to turn this into one big mushy post.)

I finally got to wear one of the flower hair clips that I made, but it was very windy, and it got stuck in Chris's hair once when I tried to lean on him during the train ride, so I didn't wear it all day.

I gave Chris a shirt he had been wanting and some mint candy bars. Then when he got home at night there was a new pillow with a Domo Kun pillow case waiting on his bed.

We went to Mitsuwa, a huge asian supermarket, on our way into the city. I bought some packages of toothpicks that have this cute little bear on them! One says 'Holiday Kitchen' and the other says 'Weekday Kitchen'. They are so cute! I also got some more of this candy that is basically pastel colored balls of rock candy.
It ended up taking us forever to get downtown because there was construction upon construction all over the El. We finally got to Reckless, and Chris found this album:

It's a musical based on Alice in Wonderland, written by Tom Waits. Apparently it was performed in Germany. Scarlet Johansen sang a couple of the tracks on her recent Tom Waits cover album.
We also went to Ragstock and Paperboy as we made our way to Kitsch'n for dinner. Chris bought me these awesome retro tube socks that I've been searching for. Paperboy was spectacular! It closes pretty early, so I've never gotten to go in. It is owned by Uncle Fun, and is actually right across the street from it. It is very much like the kind of store I dream of having. I recognized a lot of things from vendors I saw at Renegade.
Aside from cold weather and too much construction it was a fabulous day.

We Have Forgotten
I totally forgot to mention some major Cheshire Kat news! Over the summer I got a large order from Shana of Shanalogic.com. When we finally got everything worked out and completed for shipping the school year had already started. Then I forgot to take a picture, and didn't really think much about it what with my hectic schedule. Anyway, better late than never, if you go here you can see my circus & nature button sets for sale in her store! I hope that they sell out so she will come back for more!

Exo-Politics
I've kind of avoided politics on here, but I just can't resist posting this video.
Absurd indeed.

New Wildlife
We have some new additions to the family.
Meet Sadie

and Sophie

Meredith's birthday was on Sunday, and this was her present. It's a pretty amazing story actually. These poor little girls were left in a box by the Petco dumpster Sunday morning, and Meredith just happened to go into the store looking for guinea pigs to adopt. Seriously, who would abandon them? They are so cute and good natured!

Studio Reels
Chris is finally done recording and mixing the tracks for his debut EP! Now all that is left is the manufacturing. I am working on the design of it, and with the help of my gocco there will be hand printed, professional looking CDs for sale in the near future. Those will be available in my etsy shop when they are finished, but for now you can listen on his myspace.
