Shop Around

Well, I am sure that most of you are tired of reading about all my shopping excursions, but I just have to talk about this one.

Target carries a line of bath & body products called Soap & Glory, super girly looking with a sweet retro flair to it. It all looks so cute, but it isn't cheap. As soon as Target had their Christmas stuff out I saw this gift set - a carrying case full of mini products such as shower gel, bubble bath, body scrub, lotion, moisturizing body mist, and the biggest loofah I have ever seen, all for $19.99. Now I thought that this was a great deal, but I wanted to wait till after Christmas, but of course, they had been snatched up everywhere, or so it seemed.

Yesterday I was out with my mom and she thought it would be a good idea to look in the regular priced section to see if there were any mis-shelved Christmas sets. Sure enough, there it was. I was so excited, but then I realized why it was still there. The cardboard from around it was missing - no bar code. The tear away price tag had already been taken off.

I wasn't about to give up there. I went to find someone to help me, explained the situation and that I knew how much it had been, she also remembered it. I was sent to guest services, had to explain my situation again (Why can they never talk to each other. As my mother pointed out, they all have walkie talkies...) But in the end, they rang it up for me.

Since the discount was up to 90% off Holiday, I paid $2.04 with tax.

For all of that.

yessss!

The Retention EP

FINALLY! After a few technical setbacks and a re-design Chris and I have released the completed album. You can purchase it here in my etsy shop. If you want to listen to the music featured on the album you can visit Chris's myspace.

***Please do not order online if you are in the area! Shipping is a hassle, and it costs you more. You can buy one from either Chris or I.***

With A Little Help From My Friends

A couple of weeks ago I saw this video on Every Little Thing

Once upon a time... from Capucha on Vimeo.

I followed the link and watched all of the other videos. Capucine is too cute! Through their latest video I learned that Capucine (and her mother) are working with Edurelief to raise money for children in Mongolia.

If you go here you can purchase shirts, buttons, or magnets featuring drawings by Capucine. They said that there will be postcards soon too. What a sweet little girl she is.
