Today is Chris's 21st birthday! I baked a mint chocolate cake using Andes mints.
I was so excited for him to open his presents. Inside of this one is the Juno soundtrack on vinyl. I also bought him a movie called Desert Blue. It came out in 1998, and stars a very young Kate Hudson. We wanted to see t for two reasons:
#1 Is this very early Rilo Kiley video which features clips from the movie.
#2 Is that Christina Ricci is in it.
Rilo Kiley + Christina Ricci = Awesome!
We spent the afternoon in Chicago going to record stores and we ate dinner @ Clarke's. Then we came home to eat cake and watch Desert Blue with a bunch of our friends. Jimmy even drove all the way from Minnesota to surprise Chris. What a sweetie!
