Graduation Rap

Well, I do hope that some of you who read this have seen the movie Ghost World. I used to see it at the library all the time, and I just loved the cover image, but I didn't see the movie until a few months ago. Though I hadn't watched the movie, it actually shaped a lot of my style over the past few years. I would always think back to that image.

I bought this shirt at a thrift store because it reminded me so much of Enid's blue raptor shirt.

In other exciting news, a lot has happened this first week of school. There is a possibility that I can graduate a year early. Unfortunately I realized this and asked the registrar's office about it on Friday, so I have to wait till they are back in the office this week to find out if it really is possible. I really hope that I can pull it off, I have grown very restless here. I was ready to be done with college before it began really. I think it stems from the fact that college is supposed to be the time in a person's life when they break away, leave home to go out into the world, but not for me. I didn't leave home, my family is still right here, I'm in the same town I have been in since 6th grade. Don't get me wrong, I love my family, and I am so thankful for the free education I receive, but I am ready to break away. For now, I just have to wait and see.

I love Ghost World. I actually saw it in the theater! I also like pre-superhot Scarlett Johansson. My hubby and I also love to say, "Have some more kids, why don't ya" too. :)

Love the raptor shirt, and I certainly understand what you mean about your hometown. I couldn't wait to be done with school and kinda start my real life! Hang in there, kiddo!

I did see Darjeeling. But I'm gonna have to see it again.

Rushmore's my favorite. Definitely. Probably Life Aquatic is my second favorite of his.
